1980s goldtone yellow enamel background with dots of red, blue and green with round clear rhinestones in their centers hinged cuff bracelet. Marked "©NINA RICCI." Measures: 5/8 inches tall by 2 13/16 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches deep. Interior circumference is 7 1/8 inches. Condition: Very good; light wear to goldtone on edges, the bracelet sides very slightly don't match up in the front. Retains its original tag. The original price was $75. In today's dollars, if purchased in 1985 $75 would be worth $220, in 1989 $190.
 
Nina Ricci was a Parisian fashion house founded in 1932. By the 1960s Nina Ricci was at the forefront of the emerging ready to wear lines of clothing, and its clothing was widely copied by high end stores in the US. By 1962 Nina Ricci had started to sell its own ready to wear line in the US. It also had a couture line, which was dissolved in 1998 when the company was sold to the Spanish company Puig.
