Modernist goldtone openwork with goldtone "nuggets" in the center and wavy openwork surround brooch with security clasp. Marked "MONET©." Measures: 2 13/16 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition. The matching clip earrings are also available for purchase. This brooch is from Monet's 1968 Palazzo line. The original retail price was $12.50, which is about $144 today. The matching bracelet is shown on pg. 198 of Alice Vega's book "Monet: The Master Jewelers."
