Goldtone textured 3d apple with a leaf brooch with security clasp. Marked "Napier" with a copyright symbol. Measures: 2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide. Condition: Very good; minor wear to the stem and back. This is from Napier's Orchard Treasures line which was introduced in 1961 and was produced through the early 1970s. An identical brooch is shown on pgs. 358 & 865 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry."
