1950s Modernist silvertone three melon shaped faux-turquoise glass balls with spiral tops and curlique detail necklace with hook clasp. Marked "NAPIER" on the hook. Pendants measure from the top of the drop 5 1/2 inches long. Individual drops measure: 7/8 inches across. Chain doubled measures: 9 1/2 inches. Condition: Very good; minor wear. A necklace like this one but with two drops is shown on pg. 268 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry."
