Mid to late 1950s rhodium plated egg-shaped brown resin moonglow with curled top and "leaves" around the top "cumquat" clip earrings. Marked "NAPIER" in the dip of the clip. Measure: 1 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. Condition: Very good; minor wear to metal. Identical earrings are shown on pg. 310 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry."
