Goldtone textured leaves with curled stem clip back earrings. Marked "NAPIER PAT. PEND." Measure: 1 5/8 inches long by 1 inch wide. Condition: Very good, some metal wear to clips. Earrings like these were featured in a 1954 Napier advertisement. The silvertone version of these earrings is shown on pg. 267 of Melinda L. Lewis & Henry Swen's book "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry." Earrings in 1954 cost $11 which is about $129 today.
