1980s goldtone hexagonal square flat cut faux-onyx center with pavé round clear rhinestone surround clip earrings.  Marked "©NINA RICCI" on the clips. Measure: 1 inch long by 7/8 inches wide. Condition: Very good; minor wear to plastic comfort pads.
 
Nina Ricci was a Parisian fashion house founded in 1932. By the 1960s Nina Ricci was at the forefront of the emerging ready to wear lines of clothing, and its clothing was widely copied by high end stores in the US. By 1962 Nina Ricci had started to sell its own ready to wear line in the US. It also had a couture line, which was dissolved in 1998 when the company was sold to the Spanish company Puig.
